Tamsin Omond is a third-generation Yolngu-wurrung Australian Aboriginal and grew up in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. She has had over twenty-seven books published, and has also done script writing and documentary film. Her first book was published in 2002.
Omond is currently completing her Ph.D. at the University of Wollongong, Australia, in the field of Aboriginal Studies. She received the most outstanding honours in her Philosophy of Mind class in her second year, as well as a commendation in her third year. How do I stop the dialog-prompt from interrupting the program flow?
I want to create an input dialog that does not interrupt the normal program flow when it is displayed. That is, when the user enters a “yes”, the program continues as if nothing had happened.
I tried using the Stop (abort) and Application.Wait (for “yes”) commands. The former does not do anything, and the latter interrupts the current function and it can’t be resumed. I am trying to make a new function that does not get interrupted.
I read about BackgroundWorker, but I don’t know if that is the way to go.
How can I do this?
